FROM SHANNON AIRPORT.

Route: Shannon-Ennis-Ennistymon-Lisdoonvarna-Doolin

40 miles (1 hr. 15 mins)

Follow signs for Limerick for approx. 1 mile until the junction with the N18.

Turn left (North) and follow signs for Ennis (11 miles)

Follow the ring road around Ennis by following signs for Ennistymon/Lahinch (N85).

At Ennistymon follow the road straight through and follow signs for Lisdoonvarna (N67).

After approx 6 miles turn left at crossroads (R478 - signposted Cliffs of Moher).

After approx 2 miles you come to a cross roads with a shop and petrol pump on the left hand side. Turn right for Doolin (R479 - 1 mile).

At the bottom of the hill there is a junction with myriad signposts. Ignore them (because you know where you're going!) and turn left. Signpost is for Doolin Pier, if you can find it among the many!

After a quarter mile or so veer to the right and cross a small bridge. O'Connors pub is on the right. 30 yards or so beyond O'Connor's is a small lane way on the right. Turn right at the top of this laneway, we are 100 yards further on.
